No matter where our personal or work lives takes us, we always manage to sneak in a HikeSnob adventure. Back in May, Alice found herself in Amish Country for her younger sister’s graduation.

Just 15 minutes from the Kenyon campus you’ll find this ridiculously easy hike. From the parking lot, it’s only a short 5 minute walk to this stunning 25 foot waterfall.

Up close, this waterfall is a lot tinier than waterfalls we have seen. Despite its short stature, the surrounding mossy sandstone cliffs makes this waterfall stunning.

We rock hopped around the falls and explored the area. There are plenty of other trails you can follow along the Kokosing River. We were on a tight schedule so we had to head back.

Congrats to our graduate!!

Even though it was such a quick trip, Honey Run Falls is such a fun little adventure. It is almost too easy…. But we’ll take a dose of nature anytime we can.

✌🏼 out. It’s been real Ohio!
